Hola my fashion savvies! Kate here with my January Favourites.

Cosmetics
Eco Tools brushes
So what we have first are brushes from Eco Tools. I love these brushes because they're so so SO soft! They're also good for the environment, which is a bonus too!

Maybellines Great Lash Mascara
Next we have Maybellines Great Lash mascara in "Blackest Black". The wand on this mascara is quite small, so I wasn't expecting much, but WOW! If you only want a tiny bit of mascara, you give it one coat, but as a lash building mascara, it's excellent!

Benefits Dandelion Blusher
I have a bit of a benefit obsession...
But this blusher is so good! It has a pretty shimmer to it and is a really natural colour.

!**PRODUCT OF THE MONTH**!
Benefits Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Foundation
Super long name! Phew! Anyway, this is also buildable. I love this foundation. It's not too heavy but gives really good coverage. Definitely my favourite product of the month.

YouTubers
So this month I've been on YouTube QUITE alot. So I thought I'd post some YouTubers worths watching!

3. Meredith Foster (StilaBabe09)
Just Mere being Mere! She's is just so so so funny! I love her videos!

4. Chelsea Crockett (BeautyLiciousInsider)
She does really good tutorials and vlogs.

NOTD, sick days & tea

Hola! So today I am feeling miserable. I suffered from a migraine yesterday and my head is still sore! But anyway!
NOTD!
I painted my nails on Sunday in this beautiful aqua-bluish-green colour. This is from H&M. I love the nail colours from H&M! I find they can be really durable and come in so many funky colours.
SICK!
So, no-one likes being sick. I just hate being off school, away from my friends, etc. So, to make myself feel better, I made myself a cup of tea, ate some jelly and watched telly. What do you guys do when your sick and off school? Comment below!

TEA!
I don't know about you guys, but whenever I feel unwell the first thing I like to do is make a cup of tea! I am a tea junkie anyway, but when I feel unwell or have a headache, it's my go to drink!

So this filled up some of my time! Hope you guys are all well!

What's in my make-up bag?

Hola! I don't think I've done a post like this in a while, if ever. So here are the main things in my make-up bag!

So my make-up bag is from Benefit. The lovely worker who did my make-up at Benefit in Debenhams gave me this as well as some free samples from their skincare range.

First we have the foundations. I have a lighter duty one for days with friends at home, and a heavier duty one for going to school, going out or if *dreaded* I break out and need some extra coverage.

Next we have the mascaras. I have Maybelline Great Lash mascara which is great and super buildable. I also have my staple, Benefits "They're Real!" mascara. I love this mascara. It really lengthens my lashes and the wand is really great.

Next we have my concealer which is Rimmels Hide The Blemish concealer. This gives me pretty good coverage and isn't too heavy.

This is a lovely lipstick. It's from the Natural Collection in the shade "Sweet Pea". It's a really light colour and is casual.

My favourite lipstick! It's from the Body Shop. It's a beautiful red colour that's really mosituriseing too! I am in love with this colour.

I am in L♥VE with this blusher from Benefit! It's really natural, and has pretty shimmer pigments. I wear this to school because it gives me a really natural pink flush.

Ok, so the last thing I forgot to take a picture of. It's Benefits PORE-fessional primer. It really does make my make-up stay on. I wouldn't wear it everyday because I find it sometimes makes my skin a bit oily and shiny.

So those are the main things in my make-up bag! Hope you enjoyed this post.

Perfume & Eau de Toilette Tag!

Hola my fashion savvies! So this weeks blogpost is my perfume & eau du toilette tag! I do love perfumes and things like that, but they can be quite pricey too! And also, once I find a fragrence I like, I more than likely stick with it for a while. So here are the questions!

1. Show us a pic of your perfume/eau du toilette collection and/or describe what you have!
So the first one is "Daisy" by Marc Jacobs. It's such a mild fragrence and it really is lovely.

The next one is "Garden of Good and Eva" by Benefit. This one is by far my favourite! It has a florally smell to it and it isn't over powering at all.

The next is "So...? SuperStar" I really like this eau du toilette. I got it as a Christmas present about a year ago, and I have used so much of it already!

And the last one is a tester of Vera Wang's "Lovestruck Floral Rush". It's quite a strong perfume, and smells really floral ( well, duh! "Floral Rush"?!) I have to be in the mood to wear this.

2. What is your favourie out of this collection?
My favourite would have to be "Garden of Good and Eva" by Benefit. I wear almost it every day because it smells so good and isn't over powering at all!

3. How often do you wear perfume/eau de toilette?
Any time I leave the house! It's the one of the things I do out of habit. If I smell fabulous, I feel fabulous!

4. Do you wear perfume/eau de toilette to school?
Yuup! I do. I feel sort of empty if I don't.

5. Do you have a particular S/S perfume/eau de toilette?
No, actually. I wear what I feel in the mood for.

6. What is your perfume/eau de toilette wishlist?
Well I'm really loving Dior's "Miss Dior". That would be at the top of my wishlist. I like "Pink Friday" by Nicki Minaj, it smells good too. And I haven't smelt "Wonderstruck by Taylor Swift yet so I really want to try it! (comment below if you have that one & if I should try it)

So that is the tag! Comment below with a link if you tried it or if you're going to try it.
Now!
I TAG!
YOU!

Thanks guys! ;)

Girly Birthday Present Ideas

Hola fashion savvies! So it's my friends birthday tomorrow (happy birthday!) so Mam gave me €25 and I went to Superdrug.

I find that Superdrug is cheaper than Boots. They always have great deals and at my local they always have these "bargain baskets". So naturally, I went to Superdrug. I did a similar present for my other friend, and I thought I'd do the same for my this friend.

So the first thing i picked up was a pink wash bag which was €2.55. It's a great size and will be handy for future use. I then saw these cute little shower gels, the star ones which were on sale for 65c and the owl one which was 45c. I then saw the travel size shampoos and shower gell and there was this little bottle of strawberry and raspberry shower gel by Superdrug. It smells super good and only costed 95c!

I wanted to get her nail polish, and there was a deal where if you bought two, you got 80c off, so how could I not?! I waned a new nail polish, so I got one for her and kept one for me.

They had a 3 pack of Flava Crazy Chapsticks. I opened the packet and ave her one, kept one for me and gave one o one of my other friends. The 3 pack was €2.55was good value for money. The one I kept is called "Apple Burst" and smells super good!

There is an MUA twirly stand and I got a blusher quad for €3.75. The colours look pretty good too and MUA's stuff is good quality.

Then I got a Miss Sporty Million Lashes mascara too. It was on offer for just €3.05. I just love Miss Sporty's mascaras, especially they're water proof ones. This was the first brand I bought mascara from.

I also got her Maynards Sour Patch Kids (i mean, who doesn't like them?) because I'm going to give her the present on the bus tomorrow and I know how nice it is to have sweets on your birthday. And they're only 65c.

I also got her a 3 pack of Extra chewing gum because my friends and I have this obsession with GUM!! Like I would nearly go through a packet in one day because of everyone asking for some and myself too! :P and they're only €1.25, which is good considering a packet could cost 60c alone.

I then threw them (carefully) in the wash bag, stuck a old Christmas bow on it and put it in this pretty shiny indigo gift bag. I also put some pink tissue paper on top of the preset in the bag because I didn't wrap it and I wanted to jazz it up a bit.

In total, this gift came to €22.35. Obviously, you don't have to spend that much. I spent €15 on my other friend, but I didn't get her any sweets and I got her another thing along with it.

So this is just an idea for what to get your friends for your birthday. Sadly, I can't use this for many of my friends because only two or three of my friends are actually into beauty or wear any makeup at all. (I'll convert them some day) I just think this is a handy and lovely idea for a present. I would definitely be really happy to receive this sort of gift.

Have a good week guys! Don't let the Monday blues get you down - sing a song - and stay savvy!

Haul!

So with a voucher I got for Christmas from my auntie for Pennys.

These thick tights with white spots on them will go great with shorts or a plain dress.

This jumper was about 13 euro ( i think ) it's so warm and i just love how it's ombre.

These are a pair of denim shorts which I have been wanting for ages. 17 euros!

I forgot to include these in the first photo, but this is just a cranberry/berry coloured bag for 5 euro. (featured in the 'whats in my bag' post) It can actually fit far more than it looks.

Hope you liked this post.

Wednesday 2 January 2013

Hola! So I know I've been M.I.A at the momo but between Christmas exams and quality time with the fam, I just haven't been on my laptop since before the exams at all! So, for my first post to ring in the new year (2013! woo! you go glen coco) I have decided to do a "Whats in your handbag" post, inspired by one of my favourite beauty gurus, Meredith who is StilaBabe09! And if you guys haven't already, you should definitely check out her videos on YouTube.

So on to the post! These are my key things in handbag/purse!

So this mag is a bergundy/maroon/cranberry colour and I just love it! I got this recently, and I'll probably switch between this and my brown bag. This bag is from Penneys/Primark for €5 which is great if you ask me! But sadly i was fooloed, as the front 'pocket' isn't a pocket at all....
oh well.

So, first we have my wallet, from Penneys also! My No.7 Poppy King lipstick from Boots and a pen. because you never know when you need a quick fix.

Ok, so this is a little clear plastic makeup bag, and it's so tiny it's perfect for my bag! Inside I have tissues, because it seems I always have a cold...
Extra chewing gum. I am officially addicted to this stuff since the start of the school year.
My Burts Bees which was part of a Christmas present from my friend. It smells so fresh and pepperminty... I just love it!
And finally, we have my Bath & Body Works hand sanitser. I got this on Amazon, because B&BW sadly do not ship to Ireland. *sniff sniff* I got 5 of these when I was ordering them. I gave two to two of my friends, and I kept Winter Candy Apple, Iced Gingerbread & Vanilla Bean Noel (which is the one above)

So that, is what is in my handbag/purse. I hoped you enjoyed it!
