OOTN

Hey huns!
Last night, I went out with my friends to an eighteenth birthday, which was so fun! Of course, I dressed up (like all teenage girls going out) and I thought that I would share my outfit of the night.

Skirt: River Island
Top: Brandy Melville
Shoes: Topshop
Necklace: One of Mam's old necklaces

I was so comfortable in this outfit! The top is slightly cropped so I only had to tuck it in a little bit, and also it kept me warm when I went outside when going home.

Also, those shoes are my life. I wore them the whole entire night and my feet weren't sore leaving.

I hope you enjoyed this (short) OOTN and I shall see you in my next blogpost!

Midterm: My Week in Photos

Hey huns!
I know I didn't blog last week, but I was just so so busy!! I went to London for the whole week and only came home yesterday. I took a load of pictures throughout the whole week and thought, why not do a week in pictures post?

So Sunday was spent travelling to the airport and flying to Heathrow. Not very eventful I know, but who doesn't love pictures of clouds? I also painted my nails using a black colour by Essie and a sparkly top coat by Barry M.

On Monday, we headed straight for Westfield which is this HUGE shopping centre in London. We ate tapas for lunch (chorizo and calamares are my favs) and just shopped about.
I also bought the uh-mazing purple tennis skirt from American Apparel which I have been lusting after for quite a bit. I also couldn't resist taking a mirror pic in the fab lighting of their changing rooms and in the incredibly pink changing rooms of VS Pink.
My outfit for this day consisted of a black and white floral dress from Penneys, my hunter green Brandy Melville jumper, tights and my Doc Martens.

On Tuesday, we didn't really do much! I wore a gorgeous shirt from Urban Outfitters (which you can't really see) that I bought well over a year ago. We also went to a little cafe for lunch where I had the most delicious smoothie.

On Wednesday, my mum and I decided we would take a trip up to the area around Regeant Street and Carnaby.
Of course, I had to go to Brandy Melville and after that my mum and I had a lovely lunch in the famous Liberty ( there was a piece of caramelised bacon sticking out of my Caesar salad).
We also had a look around a good few shops including Anthropologie which is such a cool shop!

Thursday and Friday were both pretty easy days. I tried lemonade coconut water on Thursday, which is so so good! I also saw the Shard at night which is pretty cool and we went to Starbucks where I ordered my favourite drink from there, which is a Raspberry Blckcurrant juice blend.
On the Friday, I got my tragus pierced (which I might actually do a blog post on) and we went for Mexican. Also took a selfie with Mam. :)

So that is my week in photos for midterm! This was actually quite a fun post to do, and I think I might do more in the future.

Current Skincare Favourites

Hey huns!
So today I am here with my top three skincare products!

First thing is the Simple kind to skin cleansing lotion. This is so great for taking off my makeup at the end of the day. I love this because it's really gentle on the skin, and it does a great job of removing all my makeup.

The next thing is a tea tree toner from the Body Shop. I love this because it takes off the rest of my makeup and the tea tree helps with keeping my skin clear!

The last thing is also a tea tree product from the Body Shop. This moisturiser is lovely because it's very light and the tea tree helps combat blemished skin.

To use the toner and the cleanser, I like to use cotton rounds. At the minute I'm using these ones from Penneys which are just €1!

So those are my current skincare favourites. Comment below if you would like to see a skincare routine!

January Favourites

Hey huns!
Happy spring! Today I am here with my January favourites for 2015!

The first favourite of mine is my contact lenses! I've been loving these since the summer time, but never included them in any favourites! I'm actually quite lost without these, they're such a life saver.

The next two things are eyeliner and mascara. The eyeliner is the Supercat eyeliner by Soap and Glory and the mascara is They're Real by Benefit. I went out on a whim with the eyeliner, and honestly I love it! It is really easy to use and stays on all day. The mascara is also an old favourite of mine and I recently rekindled my love for it.

The next thing is a fashion favourite and it is a wool jumper from Brandy Melville. I found out that Brandy actually have a German website which delivers to Ireland for just €9! I had been eyeing up this jumper on Instagram and when I saw it on the website I just couldn't turn it down! I love wearing it with jeans and my black Doc Martens, so cute and casual.

The next two are shoes (yes I have a shoe problem). The first pair are black Doc Marten shoes and they are so comfy, as Docs usually are. They basically go with everything and I am in love. The other pair are New Balances! I bought these in Schuh and they are quite plain, but the flash of mint green sold it for me. I can't wait to wear these in spring and summer.

The last two things are music. The first is an album by Banks. I have loved Banks for about a year, but only bought her album recently. It's fantastic. I especially love 'Brain' and 'You Should Know Where I'm Coming From'.
I am also loving Alt-J's album 'This is All Yours'. I can easily listen to this album from start to finish, it's amazing!

So that is it from me! I hope you have enjoyed this (late) post.

Revlon Lip Butters

Hey huns!
Last week, I took a trip to Superdrug with the intention of buying some Carmex. Let's just say, I walked out with Carmex and two Revlon Lip Butters. I couldn't help it.

I picked up 'Juicy Papaya' and 'Strawberry Shortcake' as my current one in 'Sweet Tart' is running out! I honestly don't have many 'school appropriate' lip colours, as my lipstick collection mostly consists of brighter pinks and deep purples. Nothing like these ones.

As usual, the consistency of the Revlon lip butters are lovely. There isn't a huge colour pay off and it just gives a little bit of a pinkish tinge, which is exactly what I wanted. Also, the colour stays for quite a long time which makes the price worth it.

I hope you enjoyed this post! I have a feeling these lip butters are going to be creeping their way into my favourite lipsticks once more...

Chill, it's a snow day

Hey huns!
So last Tuesday, I woke up to be greeted by snowy capped hills and fields blanketed in white. That's right.

SNOW!

Although my geography teacher informed us on Tuesday we wouldn't get a day off the next day, low and behold school was cancelled Wednesday morning!

I rejoiced (literally) when I heard the news and decided to take advantage of the day to do absolutely nothing.
(candid shots of me failing to take cool snow photos)

Even though my day mostly consisted of sitting on the couch, with my duvet watching Sky Disney, I did decide to brace the cold and go out to take a few pictures, I hope you enjoy them!

New Years Resolutions

Hey huns!
I am here today with my New Years Resolutions 2015! I know I am slightly late with this post *sigh* but let's not think about that too much! On with the post!

1) Be more positive
I'm not saying I'm a negative person, but I'm definitely in the middle of positive and negative. My goal for 2015 is to be more positive about myself and towards other people.

2) Be more confident and social
I would consider myself to be quiet and not the most outgoing person at all. Ever since going in to 5th year, I have definitely become more social, but I want to improve on that even further!

3) Excercise and keep fit
Yes, I know I know, everyone says this, but I am serious about this. I have already dropped a dress size last year, but I really want to keep up with keeping fit!

4) Perfect Winged Eyeliner
Silly? Yes.
Necessary? Absolutely.

5) Paint My Room
I probably said this last year, but I am serious about it this year. I really want to paint my room baby pink and grey, seeing as the last time I painted my room was over ten years ago. Yikes!

6) Contribute to my positive vibes jar
I made a video (now on private) about this last year. I get a jar, and anytime something positive happens, I write it on a note and put it in the jar. At the end of the year, I reflect on all that happened, which is usually nice as it brings back memories.

7) Blog weekly
Biweekly would definitely not work, seeing as even weekly at best is a push. From now on, I am hoping to post every Saturday (starting today!). I have already started planning posts. Now I just have to get writing...

So those are my 2015 resolutions and I hope you enjoyed this blog post!
